I am a junior multi-media journalist majoring in Journalism & concentrating on Public Relations and Advertising. I aspire to use my passion and skills in journalism to report, market, and monetize local and global media.
What skills have you learned from being a part of the RealToonTV Internship Program?
Thus far skills I have learned from being a part of the RealToonTV Internship Program are the essentials to being a fully equipped journalist including, graphic design, social media analytics, sentence formatting to engage an audience, relevancy of blog posts to an audience, and photo & video editing across multiple platforms.

My experience with the RealToonTV Internship Program has been an eye-opening one to urban pop culture media and using skills I’ve gained from school to apply them to real-world scenarios.
Do you feel like you are able to apply the skills learned from the program outside of the program? If Yes, How So?
Yes, after learning the various methods of creating, recycling, and publishing news I feel I have the basic knowledge to run a successful media outlet myself.
