How did you get into the field that you are in today?
I started out managing other artist and friends to see where the could make it within my city and once I saw where they could go I decided to venture out and become a self managed artist to see where I could get within my city
What do you love most about your profession?
What I love most about my profession is being able to tell people my story and pov through my music
Tell us more about what you do?
With my profession I tell story’s about things I have been through and seen to show people that you can make through and obstacle that is thrown your way. With my music I tell people that anything is possible and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something, to always strive to be bigger and better.
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
At 14 years old when me and my friends would make freestyle in our garage. The passion started when I realized I can make a difference with my art and show people that everyone goes through things
Who in your field do you look up to inspire to be like or admire and why?
Drake because he knows how to make a song hit with all audiences and not just one
– Dababy because we come from the same back ground and he has a work ethic through this world he never lets anything or anyone knock him off his game
– Lil Wayne because came from the same background and he just is a classic within the rap/hip hop community.
– Moneyman has always inspired me to bigger and better things. Within his music he tells you ways to make it in the world.
None of us would be where we are today if it wasn’t for some form of mentorship or free game being dropped on us. What gems do you have to give to someone looking to get into your field?
Always be yourself, make sure your take advice and criticism from other artist and people. Always be aggressive and passionate with your art
Where are you from?
Born In Louisiana and raised in Jackson ms
How was it growing up? Was it always or were there struggles? What are some of the struggles you had to overcome?
Growing up in the areas and hoods I grew up in always had its struggles you had to overcome. From not having parents there when you needed them the most to having having to proper guidance. From my mom kicking me out and calling the police on me at 13. Growing up in the hoods I came from you never know what encounters you are going to get into from the police encounter to the people hating you for believing in yourself.
How important is family and friend support? Do they support your business?
Having support is very important but everyone knows that people aren’t gonna always support you unless they know you are going to make it.
What would you tell a younger you about life?
Be smarter and always put your work first before anything else.
Who inspired you growing up and why?
Nobody really inspired me the only person who Inspired me was myself
