How did you get into the field that you are in today?
Honestly me and and my dad used to dj around at house parties when I was a teen then I got bored of dj and I stared making beats and recording back in 2013 thanks to b.g.p. from blow tyme ent. then I got to renting this studio in the Northside of houston
I had cameras available to me so I stared using them just playing around here and there then with the band that owned the studio
let me record there behind the scenes and stuff .I ended up getting cool with guys that the drummer David Hutson wanted me to record him and his brother Darius Hutson playing percussion around houston in different spots we did a lot of videos together then they would recommend me to artist and I would practice editing different style out of stuff I learned on YouTube and I just slowly stared doing videos here and there till a year and half ago I got tired of working for highway maintenance s/0 to them R.j.a boys and stared just hustling this videos trying to work with every one meet some cool people like point blank ,k-rino,peso peso ,lil flip , got even talk to the man him self SPM told me how much he likes my work .. it been an amazing ride tbh and excited to work with more people
What do you love most about your profession?
Tbh im free and what I mean by that is that im not worry about waking up at 6 am and worry about getting fired if I mess up or im to tired that fall asleep on the job IM FREE meaning that I walk around and do as I please. Also the fact im able to help an artist put there visual together
Tell us more about what you do?
Tbh what I do is shoot music videos for artists in the hood yeah shooting cinema is cool but I love going to the trap and making it live turning with everyone I meet everyone has a different story and love filming to tell all the world what it is
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
it was right after my grandma died I had got depressed and thank god show me a different way to be in this music industry or I would have been stuck still wanting to rap
Who in your field do you look up to inspire to be like or admire and why?
I always text him and let him know but Barf media was definitely a big inspiration ever since I seen that first video he did with Brick Wolfpack Diamonds I was hooked on his style of edits and shooting something i had not seen before then I seen his growth and my guy till this day inspires me
None of us would be where we are today if it wasn’t for some form of mentorship or free game being dropped on us. What gems do you have to give to someone looking to get into your field?
I wouldn’t say free game but had been pushed by many for me to go hard for my self like my boy Eddie and his wife longoria (STRICKLY BIDNESS ENT.) if he aint give me roll to start with Marko blue I would have meet Infamous tex from hustle town digital and network
then CANT FORGET Andy Yola this man definitely has gotten big placement with up and coming Artist also my boys Demigo And Slowlife music FM producer And jayvmalo and the big man him self my dad
How was it growing up? Was it always or were there struggles? What are some of the struggles you had to overcome?
Mom and Pops always were at work to make sure stuff was good so most of the time it would be and my sis I had a different kind of struggle because the had a hard time supporting the full time music thing getting everything I have all my equipment was very difficult to get from walking to work sleeping outside in the cold days and one day I wanted to turn my room to a full blown studio I threw away my bed and slept on the floor for more 2 years so yeah this didn’t come easy but I had to grind it out
How important is family and friend support? Do they support your business?
like I said before they didn’t and when I comes to friends ……in life you have to make sacrifices I made the choice to cut all my friends off
… I wanted focus and continue my journey in this industry so I made new friends but this the were producers engineers artist people who where intrested In growing as much I wanted it too
What would you tell a younger you about life?
don’t listen to any one who tells you no or your thinks that your dream is dumb
Who inspired you growing up and why?
no one specific I was just fascinated by the hip hop game and industry
